LOST YOUR PET
Losing your pet is overwhelming, check our listings and advice below to help reunite lost animals with their families.

Have you lost your dog?
If you have lost a dog, you need to contact your local authority Dog Warden and as many local vets as possible. We also urge you to advertise your missing dog throughout the vicinity you live in with posters and a leaflet drop. Social Media always plays a hand in finding a lost pet. There are many local Facebook lost animals pages including RSPCA Bromley & District branch Facebook page.
Please remember if your pet has been found, to take the posters down.
It is a legal requirement for dogs to wear a collar and tag when out in public and on the 6th April 2016 it became a legal requirement to have your dog microchipped.

We advise you to put up posters and also leaflet your area as cats are often thought to be strays and been fed by well meaning people when they are in fact owned. Please remember if your pet has been found, to take the posters down.
We also advise you Google ‘Lost and found pets’ and ‘Spotted’ pages for your area.

Lost or found a small pet?
It’s always a good start to call the local vets, look on local Social Media websites (including the RSPCA Bromley And District Branch Facebook Page) to see if your little bundle has been found and somebody is searching for it’s owner.

The same would be said if you find a small animal who would most certainly be somebody’s pet. Please call the local Vets (or hand over to the local vet) and also post on the local Social Media sites and contact us.

Don’t forget to advertise on petslocated, and as much as possible locally. Search online for species specific rescues in Bromley and the surrounding areas.

Have you lost a reptile?
We aren’t just about the cute and fluffy! As well as calling your local vets and looking on local Social Media pages for your precious reptile, there is an RSPCA Centre dedicated to reptiles.

The RSPCA Reptile Centre is based in Patcham. They are a safe haven for neglected, unwanted and stray reptiles within the South East of England.

Stray reptiles may well be dispatched to this centre and of course, if you are looking to adopt a reptile species then look no further than RSPCA Reptile Rescue.
